Designing Your Website

Get creative. Let go. Let yourself imagine. Your Website needs its own "personality," one that is congruent with yours. It's not that difficult to design if you have a good idea of what you want before you start

Here is a link to a few samples of Webpage design. They will help you select the design and color scheme for your project. Visit this page and click on the "sample page" links at the bottom of it.

Another idea is to "surf the net" and look at other Websites. It may help you decide about some things like: color scheme, aesthetic affects, images, backgrounds and page layout. When surfing; look at and take note of the features that you find attractive, bookmark the Webpage and send me the link. I will explore it and make suggestions. Next, decide how many pages your Website will have and or . . . another option is that you could leave the design to me. I can create a "mock-up" page for you, and we can go from there

Hint

If you are quiet and laid back you may want simple pages that are not loud. If you are flamboyant you may want pages with bright colors, lots to say and loud graphics. To facilitate this process, once you decide on a general design, I will do a "mock-up" page for you. We can then discuss and agree on design, before I start the work. A 30 minute telephone session, if needed, is included with this offer.
