Custom Designed Websites For Life Coaches

Frequently Asked Questions

I believe that you should have an "FAQ" page. Even if you have a basic Website designed, you should include this "Frequently Asked Questions" page. It can cover a wide range of topics. It can do some of the selling for you. It gives the visitor--soon to be client--more information. It helps you to distinguish your service or product from others, both off and on the Internet.

An FAQ page can describe the unique way you can help the visitor find a solution to his problem.

Here're a few FAQ's you may be asking yourself about my Website design and writing services:

Q - How long will it take to get my WebPage up and running?

A - After I receive your photo, WebPage content, specifications (for color, font, graphics) and your 50% deposit, I start the work. If conditions are ideal it takes 4 - 6 weeks to completion. (Rush service is available at additional cost.) I recommend assembling your materials early, to avoid deadlines.

Q - How many WebPages should I have?

A - It varies but it is usually between three to seven for a starter Website.

Q - Do I need a form on my Website?

A - It's up to you. Ask me about this and we can discuss it. Here is a sample, click here to see a sample form. A form lets people ask you questions or order a product or service. A form can be added to your Website for an additional $25.

Q - I want a blog. Can you add one to my Website?

A - Yes. Hook-up, testing, and instruction on how to use the blog is available for an additional $60.

Q - Do you have "flash" presentations?

A - Yes. We create both text and movie type presentations. Prices start at $35.

Q - Who writes the content?

A - You do! I do! We do! You'll need to get involved with the writing process. Be creative make your Website reflect your tone. I'd like to see you write as much as you can; that is if you have the time and are able. I will guide you through the entire process. I will read your draft and make recommendations and I will act as your on call "resident copywriter." What you can't write, or don't want to write, I will. If I write the WebPage content I'll give you a written estimate before the work starts.

Q - How much does a Website cost?

A - This special offer is $299. Otherwise, the cost depends on how long and complex and how many pages and features are needed.

Q - What if I need additional features?

A - We can discuss it and adjust the cost. For fees see the fee's page.

Q -  What other costs are there?

A - There is an outside cost for the Domain Name Registration and Web-hosting service. The Domain name costs about $10 per year. Web-hosting costs $4 to $8 per month. If you take out the Domain name and pay for the hosting for one year ahead it costs under $60.

Q - What about having my content reviewed before publication?

A - All the content and copy that you give me will be proofread and "cleaned up" for grammar as needed. If you want me to read/review and respond or edit your content, before we publish it on the WWW, just let me know. I'll give you a written quote before hand.

Q - How does payment work?

A - I will provide a written agreement for the services discussed. Next I require a 50% deposit to start the work. Most people pay with PayPal. The balance is due when the work is completed or in 45 days, which ever comes first.

Q - What if you don't like what I've created?

A - No problem. As we go through the various stages in your Website design, I'll send you pages for approval. If you are not happy with the colors, design, layout and arrangement on the page, I'll gladly change it. The changes you give me must be based on the original data you gave me and not a complete rewrite.

Q -  How much does extra work on my Website cost?

A - Through experience, I have found that revisions made during the design are not time consuming if they are made one page at a time, as the work proceeds. Let me know what you need and if it is beyond this $299 offer, I will give you a written quote.

These are just a few of the frequently asked questions. If you need more information then please get in touch with me.

Hints

Here are a few hints, as you consider your FAQ page.

Include questions and answers that will help your visitor understand what you can do for them. If, for example, you were appealing to someone who is interested in your coaching service, but is undecided, you could use the following example.

Q - A visitor asks you "how will I know if your service is right for me?"

A - You could say: "You have nothing to lose, the first appointment is free." There is no obligation to enter into a contract . This would put the visitor at ease and help him take that next step to contact you.

Hint: On a FAQ's page you may also want to cover taboo things, or topics that are not so openly discussed. Remember, providing services means that you have to s-t-r-e-t-c-h, and leave your comfort zone. Go ahead and stretch, it won't hurt you, and it usually helps the client. If you need help with your FAQ page get in touch with me.
