Custom Designed Websites For Life Coaches |

Website Hosting Once you have your WebPages designed, you need to present them, or publish them, on the World Wide Web. It's not as complex as it sounds.
Most people don't want the hassle. They want their own name within the address. If you upload to the space from your ISP you have a long series of numbers and letters that sometimes are hard to fathom and are confusing. I recommend that you take out your own name. Here's how it works and what it costs.
First you need to select a Domain (business) name, a "dotcom" name. For me, for example, I chose CoachingLoft.com because I coach/write in a loft type setting. And the work I do with students, and others, is more of a coaching nature than a hard and fast advice driven service. Dream up your "Domain name." Next, you buy the use of the Domain name for a certain period of time, usually one year. When I create your Website we can take care of all the details of buying your name and setting up your account. (I will explain the parts that you need to do. Don't sweat it, I always keep my customers well informed.
The outside charge for this Domain name registration and Web-hosting service varies. The Domain name runs about $10 per year. The hosting charges can range anywhere from $3.95 to $25.95 per month and they vary a great deal from provider to provider. I use hosting companies that charge about $60 per year. The most recent hosting service I used was purchased from "Go-Daddy.com" for under $52 for an entire year.
