About

I am a certified life and leadership coach (CPCC), therapist, facilitator and mountain leader. I have a master’s degree in psychology, and a PGDip in systemic behaviour change and well-being. In 2015 I was trained and certified by the Coach Training Institute (CTI), one of the most established and well-respected coach training schools in the world. I come from 15 years of start-up and corporate background and have been exploring a path of nature connection and meditation since 2011.

I work with clients from many backgrounds, with many different reasons for coming to coaching. I bring a tailored experience to my coaching, combining the best aspects and tools from many different styles and methods. Through coaching, I partner with my clients on their journeys of discovery and growth. By working together, we develop the most valuable and powerful coaching experience based on their needs. My aim is to show up fully in support of my clients' journeys, to continually adapt to their needs, and to be the best coach that I can be. I ask my clients to show up openly and honestly, and see every moment as a chance to develop.

I support clients in the three main areas of: life coaching; leadership development; and deeper experiential offerings. With over 1200 hours of coaching experience, and nearly the same amount of training, I have dedicated my life path to supporting the growth of individuals and organisations.

Who is Tom Goldstein?

I am a certified life coach (CPCC), mindfulness facilitator, sound therapist, and mountain leader. I have a master’s degree in psychology, and a PGDip in systemic behaviour change and well-being. In 2015 I was trained and certified by the Coach Training Institute (CTI), one of the most established and well-respected coach training schools in the world. I work with people who are motivated to find new ways of operating in the world, who are seeking support, and are willing to see every moment as a chance to develop. My coaching includes leadership development, career growth, mental wellbeing, personal development, team growth and life transition.

Before training as a coach, I spent 15 years in another career in telecoms. I started off as a hardware engineer, moving to software and then customer support and technical pre-sales - in the UK, Europe, Americas, India, and APAC. I worked for small start-ups and large multi-nationals. I was involved in building and leading global teams for more than 5 years, consulting with customers to find their ideal solutions, internal and external training. During this time I also worked closely with sales, marketing, product management, development and executive leadership teams.

In July 2015 I left my career in telecoms with the deep felt desire to get to know who I really am. I felt this was a big piece of work that I couldn't do in the confines of that career. In a way I am still very much on that journey. My life has taken many twists and turns over the years, but I've always sought to understand myself and the world around me more deeply. I've often looked for adventure and learning in whatever form it has been available, including sports and adventures in the mountains, forests, and in the water.

I am passionate about learning in many different form, which has served me well. I now have more than 1200 hours coaching experience and 1000 hours training, including: coaching, NLP, systemic coaching, communication skills, leadership development, trauma, wellbeing, positive psychology, team coaching, Internal Family Systems, sound therapy, mindfulness and nature connection. This allows me to blend different techniques and tools to best suit your needs.

Why coach with Tom Goldstein?

I have had my fair share of success throughout my life, but I have also faced my own struggles and difficult times. Like many others, I have experienced anxiety, insecurity and a lack of self belief. My friends, family and community are very important to me, they help me to stay grounded and to enjoy life. My own teachers, coaches and therapist have supported me on my journey, and I am continually grateful to them for this. Time in nature, my sports and my meditation have brought me peace and happiness in my career and my broader life.

It is important for me that I have walked the path, and continue to walk the path before I coach others to do the same. For me this means a lot of personal development, therapy, coaching and training over the past 10 years. I continually draw on this experience in my life and my coaching. As well as ongoing professional development, I regularly take part in silent meditation retreats, often based in pristine nature. I have a decade of experience with my own meditation practice and deep nature connection.
