In many modern contexts, black and white are seen as opposites—mutually exclusive and in constant conflict.  This "either/or" mindset often constrain our choices and perspective, limiting us to see the world in absolutes.

Ancient chinese concept of Taiji teaches a different approach: black and white are not opposing forces, but complementary aspects of a unified whole.
