About

the founder of The Growth Compass - a coaching and consulting company that partners with entrepreneurs across the nation to build thriving small and medium-size businesses.

I am passionate about inspiring others to achieve success, using candor and collaboration to align myself with my clients' goals in order to generate the best results for their businesses.

How do I do this? By serving as the guide in the background for leaders whose businesses are on a trajectory of growth and optimization. I take on the role of coach, consultant, or integrator based on the specific needs of each client.

I've adopted a balanced approach to business by considering the triple bottom line - people, planet, and profit - throughout my work. I tackle tough challenges with the mindset of an engineer, yet without surrendering the human element of business.

My experience spans across various leadership roles in engineering and operations management, with a concentration in manufacturing. Before launching The Growth Compass, I had over a decade of experience delivering results in both entrepreneurial and corporate environments. Recent work includes:

Guided PE Investors and Founder in growing CNC machine shop by 2x revenue and +7% EBITDA in 18 months, laying the foundation for future growth within the Aerospace & Defense industry
Facilitated an executive leadership transition and Founder/CEO succession while preserving the company’s culture, growth trajectory, and operational efficiency
Collaborated with leaders to grow a distilled spirits business from concept to launch which quickly generated revenue through new product releases, capacity expansions, technological advancements, and capital investments
Supported company-wide Continuous Improvement initiatives at food and beverage manufacturing plants across the USA by training teams and their leaders on LEAN+TPM methodologies and by implementing process improvements which impact safety, cost, quality, reliability, & engagement performance metrics

So who am I outside of my work life? Well when I'm not helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses, I enjoy:

Kicking my husband's butt in billiards and strategy games
DJing for my family in our living room
Taking the cats on stroller walks around the neighborhood
Rollerblading (since before Barbie said it was cool again)
